Buhari suspends immigration general over visa issued to wanted terrorist

According to Punch, the reason why President Muhammadau Buhari (Nigeria) suspended the Comptroller-General of Immigration, David Parradang with immediate effect yesterday was connected to the visa granted to wanted Lebanese terrorist, Ahmed Al Assir by the Nigerian embassy in Beruit, Lebanon.

Assir had wanted to link the country through Cairo to hide before he was apprehended on his way. Mr Parradang was asked by the President to hand over to the most senior officer, DCG, Martin Kure Abeshi.
